Today we try to make God “politically correct” so that he might be claimed by all peoples throughout the world. It is a
surprising fact that God has a name by which he is seldom known in these days. Over 200 times in the Bible he is known as
the “God of Israel” or the “God of Jacob,” specifically identifying himself with the Jewish people and with Israel.
